Melanie Shaw

Melanie Shaw is a librarian working in the Cataloging Department at Utah State University in Logan, Utah. She's also a part-time, self-employed scientific illustrator and is currently working on computer-based illustration techniques.

Melanie's been drawing since she was old enough to hold a pencil, and her grown-up illustrations have appeared in Utah Science, and several scientific journals. She's also done illustrations for, among other publications, the Lewiston History Articles written by Joan Katherine Shaw, and other publications seen on the dragongoose.com web site.
